Blenheim Pay Tribute
This year marks the 50th anniversary of his death, the 75th anniversary of his first becoming Prime Minister and also 75 years since his ‘Finest Hour’
While you may not know who to vote for in the upcoming general election, you shouldn’t be stuck for an exhibition that celebrates a memorable and significant politician responsible for wonderful quotations (such as the subtitle above).
This year marks the 50th anniversary of his death, the 75th anniversary of his first becoming Prime Minister and also 75 years since his ‘Finest Hour’ at the Battle of Britain; in 2015 Blenheim Palace pays tribute to Winston Churchill.
This starts on 14 February when the palace reopens with the revived and permanent Churchill exhibition. Travel through the man’s life, from his birth at Blenheim Palace to his last days. Experience new photographs, extracts from his diaries and other bits that have never been seen before (a Palace, Park and Gardens ticket or valid Annual Pass is required to experience this exhibition).
