Business in Oxford 2015
We are all fortunate to be in business in Oxfordshire. Centrally located with a vast range of thriving businesses, Oxfordshire is not only blessed with some of the world’s leading minds, it is surrounded by beautiful countryside and a rich history which is a magnate to businesses, staff and tourists.
But we don’t celebrate this. At least we didn’t until last year when the first Business in Oxford event was staged at Saïd Business School on 23 April. The event welcomed in excess of 250 delegates to hear presentations from 36 Oxfordshire businesses, reflecting the plethora of organisations that have chosen Oxfordshire to do business in.
The 2015 event on 30 June will build on the success of the first year and will be extended to a full day. There will be a full programme of inspirational presentations plus ample opportunity to network with other delegates and engage with exhibitors.
This year’s event also kicks off the inaugural Oxfordshire Business Festival.
The organisers of Business in Oxford, our friends at B4 Magazine, are working with Venturefest (which is staged on 8 July)
and Oxford City Council and have formed an umbrella organisation which will oversee a series of events between 30 June and 8 July at a wide range of Oxfordshire businesses. The week will include open days, seminars and networking events.
