Chefs Delighted to Gain Entry into Prestigious Restaurant Guide
Established 25 years ago, the Harden's Guide, a prestigious restaurant guide has now opened its pages to restaurants located outside of London.
The Guide collects and curates tens of thousands of reviews from 'ordinary restaurant goers' rather than food critics. People take time to submit information about their best and worst experiences of a restaurant during the past 12 months.
Chefs at the award winning Sudbury House Hotel in Faringdon, Oxfordshire were therefore delighted when both of the hotel's restaurants got a mention in the 2018 Guide. Fine dining Restaurant 56 received 'very good' ratings for food, service and ambience and the more informal Magnolia Brasserie was rated 'good' across the board.
Executive Head Chef Andrew Scott, who oversees both restaurants at Sudbury House Hotel comments: "I am absolutely delighted for both restaurants to be featured in this year's Harden's Guide. It is a guide that I really respect and rate and all the hard work we have put in over the past four years has paid off. I am very proud of both teams."
Ronan Hunter, General Manager of Sudbury House Hotel adds: "Having recently won the Tourism South East Award for Top Restaurant/Bistro for Restaurant 56 and now gaining entry into the Harden's Guide is a great start for the New Year. We look forward to welcoming new and returning guests to both restaurants over the next 12 months as we have a number of fabulous new dishes and events planned."
