Contemporary Wedding Venue: The Five Arrows Hotel

The Five Arrows Hotel at the gates of Waddesdon Manor is the perfect choice for more intimate weddings

"In the summer, drinks are held in the beautiful gardens and courtyard and in the colder winter months in the contemporary bar and restaurant"

If you’re looking for a bespoke wedding set in a very special venue, then look no further than Waddesdon Manor in the heart of Buckinghamshire.

With a reputation for creating beautiful weddings, in idyllic settings, the Waddesdon team will give you and your wedding guests an experience you will never forget.

The Five Arrows Hotel at the gates of Waddesdon Manor is the perfect choice for more intimate weddings, licensed to hold marriages and civil partnership ceremonies and comfortably hosting a party of sixty for an elegant ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening entertainment. With a critically acclaimed, 2017 Michelin Guide restaurant, immaculate National Trust maintained grounds and outstanding service tailored to your every need.

The Grade II listed building was formerly a Victorian coaching inn built in the late 1870s, the building is a delightful mix of authentic English style, with timbering, elaborate Elizabethan chimneys and wrought ironwork, creating a stunning backdrop for your big day.

Recently refurbished throughout to the highest standard, the interiors have been created by Design House Winchester, with you and your guests’ comfort in mind. The result is a stylish, contemporary country house look and feel, which still maintains the historical legacy of the hotel. The décor is inspired by nature, with soft, calm colours and layers of wools and linens. Each of the 16 bedrooms is named after a Rothschild wine as a nod to its heritage. Options range from a luxury junior suite to a single room, all with en-suites, perfect to host your closest friends and family. The luxuriously appointed bridal suite, with its four poster bed and separate living room area creates a fabulous space to get ready and escape into your own oasis of calm.

Exclusive use of the hotel with its 16 bedrooms, the grounds and the Old Coach House, venue space and 16 bedrooms is available, meaning that your guests have access to the hotel in its entirety. Every wedding is unique, but couples tend to choose to hold their wedding ceremony and reception in the Old Coach House, with its timber trussed roof and original wrought ironwork on the walls, it can seat up to 60 guests for dinner, this can be extended to 120 with the addition of a twin pavilion marquee. In the summer, drinks are held in the beautiful gardens and courtyard and in the colder winter months in the contemporary bar and restaurant whilst the Old Coach House is transformed into a place for dining and evening entertainment. Guests are then just a stone’s throw away to retire for the evening.

The hotel’s executive chef has created exciting seasonal menus, using only the best of British produce and ingredients, perfect for even the most discerning foodies. He can advise on appropriate accompanying wines, chosen from a banqueting wine list reflecting Waddesdon’s links with Rothschild vineyards around the world.

A wedding at the Five Arrows also offer the truly exclusive opportunity to have photographs taken outside the Manor itself – the perfect memento of your wedding day.

Each wedding is assigned a dedicated wedding coordinator who is there to support you through the whole process, from the early planning stages through to managing the day itself. So what are you waiting for? Get in touch with one of the team now!
