"Limited early bird tickets go on sale on 28th October and organisers are expecting very high demand. Regular Weekend, Weekend with Camping and Quieter Camping tickets will be available at discounted rates"

Organisers of Cornbury Music Festival have announced that next year's event will be their last.

Cornbury Music Festival’s director and founder Hugh Phillimore told OX Magazine: “For once, I'm going to keep some secrets, but we're planning quite a few amazing things. We just thought it was the right time – it is tough being the only independent festival in Oxfordshire – but I want to make sure that Cornbury's fabulous finale is the best it can possibly be, and we've got some good things in the mix already. A lot of things that I've wanted for Cornbury for ages are going to happen.”

Nicknamed ‘Poshstock’, England’s most upmarket festival has been an OX favourite over the years, and has featured some incredible performers – Joe Cocker, Amy Winehouse, Robert Plant, Paul Simon, Van Morrison, Crowded House, Blondie, Hugh Laurie, Georgie Fame and the much-missed Humphrey Lyttelton, amongst many others.

The festival has gained a reputation for its unique and friendly atmosphere and beautiful Cotswold location, and is critically praised as ‘England’s Most Elegant Gathering’.

“We’re going out with a bang,” says Hugh. I can’t wait to celebrate with friends old and new. Don’t miss out on this last chance to join us.”

Limited early bird tickets go on sale on 28th October and organisers are expecting very high demand. Regular Weekend, Weekend with Camping and Quieter Camping tickets will be available at discounted rates, along with VIP Weekend tickets which will be available as part of the early bird offer for the first time.
