Danny the Champion of the World
Roald Dahl’s exciting story Danny the Champion of the World comes to South Hill Park Arts Centre in Bracknell this Easter to delight family audiences.
Join Danny and his father William – the most exciting Dad a boy has ever had – as they embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Cheer on the pair as they take on a greedy businessman and thwart his plans to buy their land by poaching his game pheasants.
South Hill Park Arts Centre has a solid history of providing quality family shows over the Easter period and Danny will be no exception. Previous productions include the sumptuous James and the Giant Peach and the visually stunning Just So.
This year, South Hill Park has teamed up with emerging theatre company London Contemporary Theatre (LCT) to bring you this family favourite. LCT brought The History Boys to South Hill Park in 2014 to rave reviews and packed audiences.
Danny will be staged in South Hill Park’s Wilde Theatre, an intimate 320 seat theatre that is just perfect for little ones to experience theatre for the first time!
Danny is adapted by David Wood, directed by Lotte Wakeham and is on 15-19 April. (Suitable for ages 5 and up).
