Daylesford Cookery School is a unique place of culinary inspiration
housed in a beautifully restored stone barn, surrounded by stunning Cotswold countryside and 2350 acres of working farmland from which they source their ingredients.
Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, a course at the cookery school will equip you with a range of techniques, recipes and principles to help you make the most of delicious seasonal ingredients.
They offer a wide range of full day, half day and evening courses – perfect for any type of cook whether you’re a beginner looking to learn new skills or a confident cook looking for more inspiration.
The perfect summer barbecue
One Day Course – 3/10/18 July & 7/22 August
Being in control of the barbecue can often be a daunting task, especially if you have exhausted your repertoire of burgers and fish skewers!
This course aims to fill you with inspiration, confidence and ideas to go forth and become the envy of your friends and neighbours. As well as advice on choosing the perfect cuts of meat and fish to pop on the grill, Daylesford will also cover a number of marinades, salads and accompaniments to make sure that the only thing that you can’t control is the weather.
£175 per person; includes practical and demonstration cookery sessions, lunch, refreshments, course material and a selection of dishes created during the course.

With leaving for college or university often proving such a crucial time in life, the skill of cooking for yourself can often be overlooked.
This 3-day course aims to give students a relaxed yet informative understanding of a vast number of simple and effective principles that will allow you to cook with confidence. Focusing on accessible ingredients that provide superb value for money, this course will leave your friends begging you to cook and will make sure that you have the skills to avoid those dreaded freeze-dried noodles!
£495 per person; includes practical and demonstration cookery sessions, lunch, refreshments and all course material.

Daylesford Farm in the Cotswolds is somewhere we often leap at the chance to pop into. We would suggest visiting the café first to try their seasonal menu which is available for breakfast, lunch, tea and supper on the weekends. Then pop into the farmshop where you will find everything from organic meat, seasonal fruit and veg, freshly baked bread and a wide selection of artisan cheeses all produced and made on the farm.
