Get swept away by unrivalled storytelling, dance and live music this June as Northern Ballet return to Aylesbury Waterside Theatre, performing Madame Butterfly with Perpetuum Mobile

Based in Leeds, Northern Ballet was voted Best Company at the 2014 Taglioni European Ballet Awards and is one of the UK’s premier ballet companies, performing throughout the UK as well as overseas.

The heartbreakingly tragic Madame Butterfly is choreographed by Artistic Director David Nixon OBE and is danced to the famous Puccini score.

The inspiration for the world famous musical Miss Saigon,

the story tells of the doomed love affair between Pinkerton and his young Japanese bride, Butterfly.

Perpetuum Mobile, choreographed by Scottish Ballet Artistic Director Christopher Hampson, doesn’t tell a story but is inspired by the music of Bach and showcases the prowess of Northern Ballet’s dancers.
