Ridgeway, one of the UK’s largest Motor Retail Groups, has continued its meteoric rise up the latest Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 league table of Britain's leading mid-market private companies (published 12th October 2014).
Ranked 36th in 2013, Ridgeway has moved up again on this prestigious league table and is now ranked just outside the top 10 in 12th position alongside well-known brands as Warburtons, Aston Martin, Pret a Manger, RAC, Nandos, Travelodge and BetFred.
Ridgeway, who already have car franchises in Oxford for Land Rover, Jaguar, Volkswagen, Audi and SKODA – also now represent the legendary Italian performance car maker Maserati – and open their new dedicated showroom in November.
Since April, Ridgeway Maserati has been operating out of temporary premises on Cumnor Hill, Oxford. Opening in November, Ridgeway’s dedicated Maserati showroom (next to Ridgeway Jaguar) will include a 4-car showroom, Used Car display plus full service, parts and repair facilities.
John O’Hanlon, Chief Executive, said “This new relationship with Maserati, in their 100 year centenary, is the perfect fit for Ridgeway. Maserati’s new model announcements will result in significant growth in volume and build on the brand’s widening appeal. Ridgeway’s investment in a stand-alone showroom in Oxford will offer the very best Maserati experience.”
“Maserati is planning to sell 50,000 cars a year globally by 2015 – more than eight times its sales figure for 2012.
"With the new Quattroporte, Ghibli and the Levante, the SUV launching in 2015 – this is an exciting time for Maserati. Ridgeway are proud to represent such an iconic brand in a territory we know well.”
