Michael Agar Design, Watlington
Following 17 years experience as Head of Graphics for The Observer, Independent on Sunday and then across the Daily and Sunday Telegraphic print titles and digital, and redesigning magazines and newspapers around the world, Michael has created his own design studio.
Bringing fresh and innovative thinking to the table and aiming their art direction toward the world of business,
Michael Agar Design is a consultancy specialising in design, data visualisation and infographics for companies, corporate and social strategies, editorial and marketing.
Working directly with global and UK based clients, the studio is proud of putting design first: identities, interiors, publications, posters, and promotions. This approach is reflected in their conviction that great design cannot happen without passion, intelligence and personal commitment, which is demonstrated in their glowing and growing client-base.
Having left London and now working out of Watlington in South Oxfordshire,
Michael recognises the long-term benefits of building partnerships and developing relationships with local businesses and surrounding areas, and hopes to be able to reach out to financial and tech companies for example, who think they may need a lick of paint or a visual re-think, adding:
“For non-designers, creating eye-catching visual content can be a real challenge. Whether vertical, or landscape, print or digital, to corporate presentations, we understand the basic fundamentals that will help ensure a businesses’ message is noticed and not lost. By creating useful, effective and desirable visuals that people love, our approach to design is a high-return on investment. Whether it’s an annual report, a publication or visualisation for social media, we love the challenge.”
