Naomi Heffer is a 20-year old Oxford student with an eclectic mix of interests which include social media, travelling, singing and biomedical sciences. She says: "I find the workings of the human mind and body so completely fascinating that it is an absolute dream for me to be able to devote my days to learning as much as I can about it".
If you were marooned on a desert island, what cosmetic accessory could you not do without?
I think it would have to be my hair straighteners. After having the same haircut for pretty much the past 20 years of my life, I’ve recently introduced a full fringe which I am slightly self-conscious about.
Do you still use a telephone and address book, or do you store all that information on your phone?
I would like to say that I still use a telephone and address book as I like the idea of doing things ‘properly’. Similarly, I definitely don’t believe in reading books on tablets or kindles; it’s got to be the real deal or nothing.
What scares you most – spiders or snakes?
Definitely spiders. I’m not really a fan of snakes either, especially after a bad encounter I had on a biology field trip involving an adder and a patch of stinging nettles.
