Pangbourne College Open Morning
The only way to experience the authentic Pangbourne is to visit us
Pangbourne College offers a robust and rewarding academic and creative curriculum, exceptional pastoral care and a huge range of opportunities and challenges beyond the classroom.
The College benefits from a beautiful site and excellent facilities but, first and foremost, Pangbourne is a place where the individual matters and there is a commitment to the personal development of pupils in the fullest sense.
The College has the advantage of being set in 230 acres of wonderful Berkshire countryside, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty yet within easy reach of excellent transport connections.
In its generous rural setting, Pangbourne provides a smaller school environment where there is room to focus on the individual. Here, boys and girls aged 11 to 18 are provided with the personal attention, resources and space to fully exploit their natural potential in a friendly, relaxed campus environment.
Pangbournians are encouraged not only to challenge themselves and reach their potential but also to be happy and fulfilled. The College offers a comprehensive co-curricular programme which enables pupils to find their niche and thrive as their specific abilities are recognised and developed.
August 2014’s examination results demonstrated the academic strength of the College with the GCSE results the best in Pangbourne’s history, topping 2013’s record-breaking success in the process.
To give just a snapshot of the lively environment which caters for students across a wide range of disciplines – recent Pangbourne student successes have included: two Sixth Formers reaching the Senior Kangaroo Maths Challenge finals; three pianists winning prizes in their age categories for their performances at the 2015 Pangbourne College Piano Festival; a group of Year 10 pupils making the national finals of the Land Rover 4x4 in Schools Technology Challenge; representative national honours for rowers, and rugby and hockey players.
The only way to experience the authentic Pangbourne is to come and visit us, enjoy a tour of the College and speak to the pupils here who will give you a real insight into what Pangbourne is today.
You are warmly invited to our Open Morning on Saturday 3 October 2015, 9:00-12:00 noon. To confirm your attendance, please contact the Registrar, Margaret Smith on 0118 976 7415 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
