Summer at the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre
Put 13 September in your diary
Meet some awesome authors at the Roald Dahl Museum this summer, including Piers Torday, author of The Last Wild series, Rob Biddulph, author of the award-winning Blown Away, and Michael De Souza, one of the creators of CBeebies' Rastamouse and da Easy Crew.
Join in with Terrific Twits’ Parties to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the book, and take part in some Matilda Musical Magic with Will Kenning from the West End production.
The Museum is jam-packed with hands-on displays and activities – you can make your own stop-frame animation film, explore the cockpit of a WWII Gladiator, like the one Roald Dahl flew, test your spark-factor on the Sparkometer and join in with the regular interactive storytelling sessions. After all that, relax in the courtyard with a slice of Bogtrotter chocolate cake and a Fizzlecrumper from Café Twit.
Put Sunday 13 September in your diary, if you don’t want to miss this year’s Roald Dahl Day celebrations at the Museum. There'll be magic, storytelling, trails, talks, face painting and more. Plus a chance to watch hilarious performances of ‘10 Books in 10 Minutes’.
Check the Museum’s What’s On pages on the website for full details including workshop prices and booking details.
