Boys’ Dance Day Monday 10th April, 10am-4pm, for 7-11 years. Tickets: £30
This workshop is designed especially for boys, providing them with the rare opportunity to dance with other boys and explore contemporary and urban dance techniques.
Play in Two Days Monday 10th & Tueday 11th April, 10am-1pm, for 5-7 years. Tickets: £40
Participants will engage in drama games, storytelling and improvisations and then create their own version of a traditional tale to show to their families on our stage at 12.45pm on Tuesday.

Step into the life of a West End dancer! This workshop provides an opportunity to build confidence, gain knowledge and learn choreography from a West End Show.
African Drumming Friday 21st April, 10am-1pm, for 5-8 years. Tickets: £22
The universal appeal of African drumming ensures that every participant finds the workshop accessible and enjoys getting involved with creating infectious grooves and foot-tapping rhythms!
Half Term Workshops
Unarmed Stage Combat Workshops Thursday 1st June, 10am-12.30pm (5-7 years), 1.30pm-4pm (8-12 years). Tickets: £22
How is a fight portrayed realistically on stage? This workshop presents a set of principles to enable participants to learn how to portray unarmed stage combat safely and effectively.

This interactive workshop aims to build confidence, creativity and imagination. Improvisation, mime and storytelling will be explored in this fun and exciting experience.

Working with creative practitioners, this high-energy workshop provides a chance to sing songs and learn some dance routines.
Summer Workshops, 8-12 year olds

Working with a theatre professional, participants will develop a piece of theatre together and learn how performances transfer from the rehearsal room to the stage.

Working with professional theatre practitioners, this week provides a chance to create a musical theatre show. After intensive rehearsals, participants perform their show on The Theatre's stage.
Summer Workshops, 13+ years
West End To Broadway 21st-26th August, 10am-5pm. Tickets: £155
Working with a professional team, including a director, choreographer and musical director, participants will rehearse and perform a variety of show-stopping songs and excerpts from West End and Broadway musicals. This exhilarating and inspiring week culminates in performances on Saturday.
Summer Little Ones
Little Music Makers’ Summer Session, 22nd August, 9.45-10.15am. For 6 months-3 years. £5 per child.
Led by Theresa Crawford of Salt Box Music Co., these fun and educational music sessions offer a colourful array of percussion instruments from around the world, fun and interactive songs and games for you to enjoy together, props, puppets and lots of giggles! These popular sessions provide a stimulating early introduction to the world of music in the most enjoyable way. Carers to stay with children.
Little Dancers’ Summer Session, 22nd August, 10.45-11.15am, For 2-4 years. £5 per child
Led by Sally Elderfield, these sessions offer children the chance to explore a variety of dance styles, helping to develop coordination and control whilst enhancing their sense of rhythm. Each session is themed and there are lots of dance based games and activities, an introduction to dance forms from different cultures and plenty of opportunities for the children to express themselves. Carers to stay with their children.

Led by actor and workshop leader, Lucy Joseph, these fun sessions aim to build confidence and creativity through improvisation, mime, storytelling, character work and games. The sessions provide an excellent introduction to drama and working with other young people.
There are approximately 200 young people in our Youth Theatre. We have ten age-banded groups and participants concentrate on devising and improvising in particular, but also work on script and movement as well. The Youth Theatre not only develops young people's performance skills, creativity and imagination, it has a proven track record of increasing their self-confidence. Youth Theatre members are also provided with opportunities to perform on The Theatre’s stage.
Youth Musical Theatre
Fun-filled classes of singing, dancing and drama for 5+ year-olds. These weekly sessions, led by Lindsey Henderson, are a wonderful way for students to learn new skills and build confidence, inspiring plenty of creativity along the way. Students will be involved in learning a variety of songs and dances, as well as taking part in storytelling and creative play.
Youth Musical Theatre
These weekly sessions concentrate on singing and dancing, offering young people a taste of musical theatre and a chance to work as a member of an ensemble. Participants work with a choreographer, voice tutor and musical director who introduce them to a wide variety of songs and dance styles. For ages 7+ years.
Street Dance is all about having fun and boosting your confidence. The classes are open to all abilities, and are led by Lindsey Henderson, in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Students will develop greater balance, co-ordination and footwork, thus enhancing their performance ability. The weekly sessions are a great introduction to Street Dance, and a perfect way to show off dance moves and perform routines as a group!
