Try Your Hand at Clay Pigeon Shooting

Try clay pigeon shooting at E. J. Churchill in celebration of National Paralympic Day
 E. J. Churchill

"This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone who has always wanted to have a go but never known where to start"

E.J. Churchill, the award winning clay pigeon shooting ground, gunmakers, sporting agency and country outfitters, will celebrate National Paralympic Day 2015 on Saturday 25th July by inviting people of all ages (from 9 years old) and abilities to come and give clay shooting a go.

We are offering Have A Go sessions at a reduced rate of £30 (normally £40) per person as an introductory offer for this day only. This will be part of a nationwide activity to promote disability sport and introduce new people to clay shooting.

The event will take place at E.J. Churchill Shooting Ground from 9am-5pm. Bookings must be made in advance by calling 01494 883227 and minimum numbers of 4 people per booking apply. Victoria Tetley, Business Development Manager at E. J. Churchill, said:

“We look forward to welcoming people to E.J. Churchill on 25th July to give clay shooting a go. We pride ourselves on making the facilities here as accessible as possible and this is a fantastic opportunity for everyone who has always wanted to have a go but never known where to start. Clay shooting is a challenging but rewarding sport that everyone can get involved with and enjoy.

“It is great that Paralympic sport is becoming widely recognised and celebrated across the country and we are very proud to be supporting National Paralympic Day 2015.”

Sarah Chambers, Project Manager for National Paralympic Day at the British Paralympic Association, said:

“It’s absolutely fantastic that E.J. Churchill are getting into the spirit of National Paralympic Day.

“As the countdown to Rio continues, we’re encouraging people to get involved by either coming to one of our events in London, Plymouth, Nottingham or Brighton on July 26, or to join up with an event like this in their local community.

“National Paralympic Day gives people the opportunity to celebrate what they love about the Paralympics and I think that this event fits the bill perfectly. It is a fun way for people of all ages to show their support for the Paralympics.”
