This October half term at the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre meet award-winning author Robin Stevens’ and listen to her murder mysteries, make Malicious Magnets, Witchy Hand Holders or Fleshlumpeating Pillows and discover the demons in Dahl’s Archives
On 8 November, John Hegley, one of the UK’s most popular and most hilarious poets will be inviting visitors to join him for a deep and daft session of stories, music and verse.
Make a date to visit Great Missenden on Saturday 28 November from 3pm till 8pm when the Museum will be offering free admission as part of the Village Christmas Festival. There’ll be fairground rides, music and entertainment and plenty of mulled wine and minced pies!
The Museum is jam-packed with hands-on displays and activities – you can make your own stop-frame animation film, explore the cockpit of a WWII Gladiator, like the one Roald Dahl flew, test your spark-factor on the Sparkometer and join in with the regular interactive storytelling sessions.
