The team at Westcote work tirelessly to turn your acorn into a fully fledged oak tree
Westcote Design started from humble beginnings in 1991, from a small unit in Milton-under-Wychwood supplying mainly local designers and a couple of London architects.
David Harwood and Mark Prestidge brought to the table a wealth of experience and also a passion they shared for high quality furniture to be produced in the UK.
Very quickly the business grew and it moved to larger premises just outside Kingham but within 5 years, it had to move again in order to accommodate more staff and a bulging order book.
The larger premises allowed for a showroom which gave the opportunity to showcase the products to a larger client base and it began to supply the public as well as the trade sector.
Westcote now has an established and highly skilled team and delivers on a weekly basis into London and the surrounding counties as well as Paris on behalf of a large client base of leading interior designers and architects as well as smaller shops as far south as Devon and Cornwall, together with a solid local reputation.
Although Westcote has over 40 models in its range, commissions are also undertaken. Working with a designer or a client with a vision, they aim to create unique pieces which will last a lifetime. In effect, creating the antiques of tomorrow.
A true home should showcase the clients individuality and inspirations and this cannot be better reflected than in the creation of a specially designed piece of furniture which encompasses all of the above but also offers an unsurpassed level of comfort because although ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’ the beauty also has to be practical and ensure you can relax and unwind at the end of a busy day otherwise your carefully aesthetically thought out piece can become cumbersome and uncomfortable, leading to back problems and other joint issues.
The team at Westcote work tirelessly to turn your acorn into a fully fledged oak tree which will continue to flourish and provide enjoyment for many years to come.
