centre:mk celebrates British fashion with AW16 Live
Following a month of celebrating emerging and renowned fashion design talent at London Fashion Week, centre:mk will be hosting the region’s biggest live fashion event, AW16 Live. The showcase will be taking place on Saturday 1st October from 11:00-17:00 and Sunday 2nd October from 12:00-16:00, with 15-20 minute fashion shows happening on the hour, every hour all weekend in the centre’s iconic event space, Middleton Hall.
With a host of key trends and exciting new in centre launches, Autumn Winter 2016 is already set to be an exciting time in the fashion calendar. Now in its fourth year, this highly anticipated two day event will be showcasing the new season collections and key looks for AW16 for both womenswear and menswear. Over 30 leading brands will be participating in the showcase, including John Lewis, House of Fraser, M&S, River Island and Hobbs, highlighting centre:mk as the perfect destination for a spot of retail therapy.
In addition, Ellie Stidolph, centre:mk Stylist at Large, whose clients include Ella Eyre and Niall Horan of One Direction, will be offering her fashion expertise to shoppers for a pop-up concept: ‘Off the Rails’ on Saturday 1st October from 11:15-16:45. Ellie will be picking her favourite pieces available in stores at centre:mk, demonstrating to shoppers how they can make the key looks for AW16 work for them. Ellie will also reveal all on John Lewis’s first luxury label, Modern Rarity, which launched earlier this month at centre:mk.
If this isn’t enough, centre:mk will also be hosting a Beauty Box, where there will be free hair and make-up tutorials over the two days for shoppers to pick up all the latest beauty tips for the season. The centre will be gifting shoppers with personalised centre:mk shopping bags to celebrate the AW16 Live in style.
Ellie Stidolph, centre:mk Stylist-at-Large, says, “ I’m super excited to be working with centre:mk for AW16 Live; it’s a fantastic way to celebrate the best of the high street from both British and International retailers. I work with a variety of clients to make them look and feel amazing. This could be for a music video, photoshoot, red carpet appearance or a new holiday wardrobe. My goal is always to make my clients feel confident, comfortable and fabulous, so really looking forward to bringing this to shoppers in centre:mk this weekend and highlighting my top picks for the season.”
